Welcome to Classic Cars and Cotswolds, an event organised by Amwins Global Risks and supported by industry peers to raise funds for the Matthew Wilson Multiple Myeloma Fund at Blood Cancer UK.
Join us on Friday 6th - Saturday 7th September 2024 as we take to the beautiful roads of the Cotswolds in a series of stunning classic cars in support of Blood Cancer UK and the Matthew Wilson Multiple Myeloma Fund.
We have seven amazing cars to choose from, with bids beginning at £1,500. Models of Ferraris, Aston Martins, a Porsche, a Lamborghini and a fantastic ISO are all waiting patiently. Which one will you be driving?
Starting in Surrey on Friday morning we'll take in the fabulous countryside of Sunningdale, Ascot and Windsor Great Park before moving into Cotswolds countryside for lunch at the acclaimed country inn The Feathered Nest at Chipping Norton.
An afternoon of driving across this beautiful part of the country will be followed with a Michelin-starred private dinner and overnight stay with breakfast hosted at the 5-star Manor House Hotel, an idyllic 14th century retreat, nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds village of Castle Combe in Wiltshire.
What you need to do:
Take a look through the cars available and choose which one you’d most like to drive (or bid on more than one if you fancy!). Place your bid. You’ll receive an email if you’ve been outbid, to give you the chance to bid again.
Bids close on Friday 19th July, and the people with the winning bids will be contacted by Friday 26th July.
Why we’re doing this:
Amwins Global Risks started fundraising for the Matthew Wilson Multiple Myeloma Fund, which is part of Blood Cancer UK, in September 2023. So far, we’ve raised nearly £40,000, and our goal is £100,000. Classic Cars and Cotswolds will help us get there, and we need your support.

You are bidding for the chance to drive one of the seven listed classic cars. Bidding is for the driver only, the passenger will be the car's owner/representative.
Costs of petrol and accommodation are included, as are food and drink listed on the itinerary (i.e. refreshments at Foxhills, coffee, lunch at the Feathered Nest, dinner, cocktails and breakfast at the Manor House). Any additional costs are at the bidder's expense.
All bidders must be aged 30 years or older at the close of the auction and hold a full UK driving licence.
