Michael Hole and Dave Shack host the 10th Truants Golf Day at Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club on Friday, 30th September 2022
The Truants Foundation are delighted that you and your team are able to participate in the above event in order to support the following charities:-

SCHEDULE
10:30 hrs – Arrive at Royal Mid-Surrey GC (the locker entry pad number is 56789)
10:30 hrs - registration with V Par in the reception area
For handicaps purposes – please see below:-
*Pam Barton, Burgundy Tees, Men* will use their normal course handicap.
*JH Taylor, Burgundy Tees, Men* will use their course handicap + 1.6 shots.
*Pam Barton, Green Tees, Ladies* will use their course handicap + 1.3 shots.
*JH Taylor, Green Tees, Ladies* will use their course handicap + 2.1 shots.
The main event is the team event. Each team has 4 players with the best two stableford scores on each hole to count. For this format, you will receive 85% of your calculated handicap.
Fear not, VPAR will work this all out for you on the live scoring system..!!
Men play using the men’s pars and SI, ladies play using the ladies’ par and SI.
There will also be an individual prize for the best stableford score, so please record everyone’s scores on each hole where they score points.
At registration, you will have a chance to purchase 3 mulligans (wristbands) for £20 via this site.
There are baskets of practice balls on the range and around the chipping green.
10:35 hrs – Coffee & bacon/ sausages baguettes in the main lounge (Haslam Bar)
12.00 hrs – A quick briefing re the competition to be in the main lounge (Haslam Bar)
12.30 hrs – 18 holes – shotgun start – 4 ball better ball (stableford) – individual & team events (best 2 scores)

• Straightest drive – 18th hole,
Nearest the pin – 5th hole,
Beat the pro – 11th hole

• Straightest drive - 7th hole,
Nearest the pin – 15th hole,
Beat the pro – 10th hole
• Winter rules are in place
• Halfway hut (the Trooper Tent) – sandwiches/ refreshments
17.15 hrs – drinks in the various bars
19.00 hrs - dinner, prizes, (short) auction conducted by Rob Henderson (Ireland and British & Irish Lions ex rugby international) and Tom Baigrie (South African ex rugby player) (combined international caps between RH and TB - 32 caps)
- dress code for the Dinner/ Auction is smart casual.

As you can see from the above itinerary, the golf competition has a shotgun start at 12:30 hrs
- for the sake of our peace of mind, all players to be registered well before 11:45 hrs.
Finally we would like to confirm that no overnight accommodation has been booked for you..!!
