An evening at the Natural History Museum hosted by Nature’s SAFE with guest speakers Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Richard Vigne.

Time and Date: 1900-2300 hrs Thursday 23rd February 2023.

Location: The Natural History Museum, Cromwell Rd, South Kensington, London SW7 5BD.

Arrival 7pm

You will be shown through to the Images of Nature Gallery where a sparkling drinks reception will await you. You have the chance to browse the exhibition whilst networking with the other guests, including speakers and the Nature's SAFE team. Tullis Matson (HonDTech) the charity's Chair, will welcome you, giving an insight into how the charity is saving animals from extinction.

Throughout the evening, drinks and an exciting menu of sustainably sourced food will be served.

The Line-up

Sir Ranulph Fiennes, our Keynote Speaker, will transport you through his 60-year career. While leading expeditions across the world, he has seen how animal numbers and their habitats have deteriorated, highlighting the importance of acting now to save the animal kingdom.

Dr Sue Walker (PhD), Cofounder and Vice Chair of Nature’s SAFE, will give an insight into nearly three decades of conservation work and the critical link between Nature's SAFE and zoo conservation efforts.

Richard Vigne will discuss his work at Ol Peteja Conservancy, home of the last two surviving white rhino, and how Nature's SAFE can prevent similar species from becoming extinct.

The evening will conclude with a live auction and the online auction will be announced,

Images of Nature Room at the Museum of Natural History. The Images of Nature gallery explores how artists and scientists view the natural world through historic prints, watercolours and modern images. The traditional Waterhouse architecture provides a beautiful and intimate setting.
