Tony Vaccaro is a highly acclaimed American photographer who is well-known for the compelling photographs he took in Europe between 1944 throughout and after World War II. After his infantry military service, he became a renowned fashion and lifestyle photographer for U.S magazines and photographed some of the most famous celebrities ever known. This print of Picasso has kindly been donated to HvH ARTS by Tony Vaccaro to support ‘The McCrory Award” Helen quoted: “Picasso famously said that every child is an artist. And we at the HvH ARTS are passionate about ensuring that every child is given a chance to connect with, and to express their inner artist. All young people need positive outlets for their energy, and the Arts can help children flourish in ways other subjects cannot”
