Austrian Wine Weekend with Willi Opitz

Austria’s first awarded Late Harvest Winemaker of the Year, Willi Opitz, has garnered critical acclaim worldwide. Not only for the very high quality of his portfolio but for highly individual wines like the flagship Opitz One, a sweet red wine made from air-dried Zweigelt grapes. The estate extends to 17 hectares, with 12 different varieties planted and over 30 different wines in production.

You and your guest will be personally hosted by Willi, where you’ll be able to explore the natural surroundings by bike, boat, or horse-and-carriage. Indulge in the vineyard’s award-winning wines and fill up with an extraordinary 10 course ‘Winemakers Dinner’ created by Michelin-star trained; CIA Catering. Chefs Angela and Iain trained under Marco Pierre White and The Savoy respectively – so as you can imagine the food really is out of this world.

Top off your experience and take home a slice of paradise by creating your own Cuvee at the vineyard. Leaving the picturesque Austrian countryside, you will feel refreshed albeit a bit tiddly.
