ABOUT THE AUTHOR


Nikita Gill is an Irish-Indian poet, playwright, writer, and illustrator living in the south of England. She has published seven collections of poetry: Your Soul Is A River (Thought Catalog), Your Heart is the Sea (Thought Catalog), Wild Embers (Trapeze), Fierce Fairytales (Trapeze), Great Goddesses (Ebury), Where Hope Comes From (Trapeze) and These Are The Words (MacMillan). She is the editor of the poetry anthology SLAM! (Macmillan’s Children’s Books) and The Girl and Goddess, a novel in verse, published by Ebury on National Poetry Day 2020. Her work has been shortlisted for the CLIPPA twice and longlisted for the Jhalak Prize.
