ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jessie Burton is the author of four Sunday Times bestselling novels: The Miniaturist, The Muse, The Confession and The House of Fortune. The Miniaturist sold over a million copies in its first year of publication and was adapted into a series for BBC One, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Romola Garai. She also writes for children, including The Restless Girls and Medusa, which was shortlisted for the Carnegie Award for Writing in 2023. As a non-fiction writer, she has written essays and reviews for The New York Times, Harpers Bazaar UK, Independent, Vogue, Elle and The Spectator.
