For the second year in a row, Louisa has created a grid of squares for the Article 25 fundraiser, this year focusing on areas of reflection and reflectivity in London. These 11x11 squares of experience have reflected both her iPhone camera roll and also her interest in the taxonomy of memory. The individual drawings vary from literal reflections within London such as architecture, symmetry, nature and materiality to areas where she had taken moments to think and reflect in the quieter areas in this ever bustling city.

Louisa Schmolke is a 27 year old Scottish Architectural Designer, Illustrator and Artist based in London working at Heatherwick Studio. Louisa graduated with a Masters of Architecture in 2018. Her work varies from architectural illustrations and urban sketches, to colourful abstract acrylic and watercolour paintings. Her love of taxonomizing artwork has lead to often repetitive and grid like explorations of her art.
